It’s official—the Gosselin kids are coming back to television. Though Kate Gosselin is launching a new series, Twist Of Kate, in which the Dancing With The Stars contestant profiles courageous women who write her fan letters (“I want to be out there learning from others, helping to provide insight whenever I can, though I don’t consider myself an expert on anything”—just the kind of secretly self-adoring crap we’ll need when Tyra goes off the air), TLC will also be airing a series of Kate Plus 8 specials, catching us up with Cara, Mady, Aaden and the other rugrats ex-husband Jon Gosselin yanked from the air last year during their divorce battle.
But wait, isn’t Jon suing for primary custody of those same kids? Not a problem, suggests Kate’s attorney. “I don’t even know where Jon lives! He doesn’t even list an address in the court filing,” Mark Momijan told Radar (which might be why Jon’s arguing he should be able to sleep in Kate’s guest house). “This filing seems incoherent on a number of levels. We’re trying to understand what it says.” While we sympathize with JoGo’s need for shelter (the “young, easily impressed girlfriend” trick was bound to dry up sometime), shaming a working mother might not have been the way to go. “The bottom line is I’m just doing what every other mom is doing. They just don’t have cameras following them so people can’t keep tabs on how many hours a day they spend with their kids,” Kate explained to Access Hollywood. “I have to do it. I have eight kids. It’s not a joke, it’s the truth. I have to provide for them.”
