The entire internet is OMGing today over this leaked demo of Britney Spears (allegedly) singing (allegedly) Lady Gaga‘s hit song “Telephone.” Gaga wrote the ditty for BritBrit, who recorded the demo and then turned it down, paving the way for it to become Lady Gaga’s dullest song yet (and lamest video, we might add).
We listened to the track a bunch of times and came to a couple of conclusions: 1. autotune is responsible for the destruction of both the music industry and the soul of our planet (That oil spill and the flooding in Nashville? Blame autotune) and must be stopped and 2. it doesn’t sound all that much like the Britney we know and love (to mock).
