
Yes, but is it art? Marc Quinn, the sculptor who previously gave us an 18k sculpture of Kate Moss‘ crotch, has chosen another ’90s beauty to portray in his new exhibition. Behold “The Ecstatic Autogenesis Of Pamela,” a cojoined pair of Pamela Andersons currently residing at London’s Hoxton Square. “You have got people who have decided to change the outside of their bodies to fit how they feel inside,” said Quinn, who also created a pair of large Michael Jackson heads (one black and one white) for the show, where prices will range from 50,000 to 350,000 pounds. “Pamela’s done it within the mainstream in a way.”
Coincidentally, the real Pamela Anderson was a presenter at the Wellness Community’s “Triumph Of The Human Spirit” Awards in LA yesterday, honoring the philanthropic efforts of cancer survivors. See photos of both works of art in the gallery below.
