That girl sure can pick ‘em. While he isn’t being accused of anything as heinous as Raffaelo Follieri‘s $50-million Vati-Con fraud, Anne Hathaway‘s current man Adam Shulman seems to have some sticky fingers of his own. The New York Post apparently spotted the actor swiping part of a Mr. Brainwash mural from a construction site in the Meatpacking District–and the owner wants it back. “If he brings me back the art, it’s over,” said Ken Hart. “But if he doesn’t, I’m going to the police to report it stolen!” While he wouldn’t be the first person to swipe street art, Shulman required a buddy and screwdrivers to remove the piece—sounds like a premeditated heist!
This isn’t the first time the Post has tried to spoil Shulman’s fun; the paper called him an “opportunist” when he first started dating Hathaway. “When he was at Brown, he went after all the heiresses,” said their source. “It’s like Anne is addicted to losers.” Does the Post have it in for him or has she really picked another bad boy?
