Liam Hemsworth is stepping up to defend his girlfriend Miley Cyrus’ video for “Can’t Be Tamed.” Turn out Liam is just like her father, Billy Ray, who recently stood up for Miley’s lap dance video with director Adam Shankman.
“Everyone gets criticism, it’s kind of what comes with this job. Everybody’s trying to bring you down. She’s got a good head on her shoulders,” he said at the Young Hollywood Award, after winning Breakthrough of the Year (he thanked her in his acceptance speech, awww!)
As for the video, he succinctly said, “I think her new video is great.” All’s gravy with them too, he revealed, “ We get along great, she’s a great girl. We work great together,” he said. That’s a lot of “greats” isn’t it? Hey we’re all up for the the knight-in-shining-armour thing… only, speak up a little quicker, Liam. She’s probably moved on the next controversy by the time you decide to say something!
