Singer Wyclef Jean wants Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie to help his homeland Haiti, by adopting a child from there. He was at the Nickelodeon Mega Music Fest in New York City when he said, “Brad and Angie, please! Please adopt a child from Haiti!”
With a brood that now hails from Cambodia, Ethiopia and Vietnam, it isn’t a far-fetched request at all. Jolie even told CNN that she was open to the idea while she and Brad visited the earthquake ravaged country in February, saying, “I’m always open to children around the world. We’re that kind of family. Brad and I talk about that. But that’s not what we’re focusing on at this time, by any means.” Brangelina also donated $1 million to Doctors Without Borders through their Jolie-Pitt foundation.
And this isn’t the first time Wyclef has spoken about kids with them. Recounting a conversation that happened with the Jolie-Pitts when they last visited Haiti, Jean said, “I remember my last conversation with her was probably about the baby’s [Zahara] hair and how it was rough. Now they use [hair product] Carol’s Daughter for her.”
