Despite advising “life isnt about waiting for the storm to pass, but learning to dance in the rain” on Twitter earlier this month, Chris Brown questioned his answer yesterday with “U ever feel like the storm clouds are too thick for any sunshine to get through?” While we don’t know exactly why he was throwing another pity party, it might have had something to do with his canceled European tour. Though he already visited Fashion Weeks in Milan and Paris this year (remember that bloody and bruised Jean-Paul Gautier photo?), it looks like Britain’s still hung up on Brown’s assault conviction and has denied the singer a work visa.
“Due to issues surrounding his work visa, (the) Ireland and United Kingdom leg of Chris Brown’s Fan Appreciation Tour has been postponed,” said a rep. “Chris looks forward to performing for his fans abroad in the near future and thanks them for their continued support.”Brown’s UK status has dropped even more than in America since his violent attack on Rihanna, with 2009′s Graffiti only reaching #55, despite the previous album topping off at #3. Hmmm…wonder if ticket sales had anything to do with his delay as well.
