The Gwyneth Paltrow Cookbook, a.k.a. The Joy Of Smug Cooking

Do you love Gwyneth Paltrow? Do you love reading her lifestyle newsletter, GOOP? Do you want to eat what Gwynnie eats, right down to the macrobiotic, organic foods that will help cleanse your mind and colon? You’re in luck! Paltrow is releasing a cookbook of her favorite recipes that will be called My Father’s Daughter. Paltrow’s father Bruce, whom she was famously close to, passed away in 2002 and she says the vibe of the book “is meant to channel the ethos of my father by sharing the greatest gifts that he imparted to me – invest in what’s real, clean as you go, drink while you cook. Make it fun.”

While we’re no fans of the holier-than-thou actress whose blog irritates us to no end, we can’t wait to see what kind of recipes she includes in her tome. A few thoughts…

  • Soup and Salad Duets
  • Shakespeare’s In Love With These Brownies
  • Pie Captain And The World Of Tomorrow
  • Simple Ways To Eat More Iron, Man
  • Sliding Hors D’oeuvres
  • Olive Oil Tenebaums
  • Se7en Layer Dip

What did we miss? Oh yes, The Talented Mr. Fish-and-Chipley.
