Someone call the glaaaambulance, there are models in distress! (Yes, “glaaambulance”, it’s like a waaambulance, but sexy. Trademark it.) Seems that Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell were none too pleased at having to share a magazine cover with Lady Gaga and insisted on being shot separately. Now, instead of the three of them posing together, i-D Magazine‘s September issue will have a three-page pullout featuring separate images of each woman.
A source explained to the Daily Mail “Kate and Naomi were to do a joint cover shoot but the editor wanted to add Gaga as well. Naomi and Kate refused to play second fiddle to Gaga and insisted on having their own retouching done, so they were all shot separately.” Normally we’d highly doubt a story that pits women against each other in such a catty way, but this is Naomi Campbell we’re talking about. We’re surprised she didn’t hunt down Lady Gaga and throw a blood-diamond-encrusted coffee mug full of boiling oil in her face.
