Poor Taylor Momsen. What a hard life she has. Being on a hit television show and a rising band is so tough. She has full reason to dress like an underage stripper with raccoon eyes who flashes her boobs at concerts. It’s not her fault she’s messed up, guys. Because following the age-old tradition of uttering “you just don’t understand me,” Taylor blames her parents for her screwed up-ness. (God bless parents, they’re always the sitting ducks).
According to Taylor, they ruined her childhood and thus, every chance at normalcy. She griped, “Everyone’s like, ‘Wow, why is she upset and why is she so miserable about things?’ My parents signed me up with Ford (modeling agency) at the age of two. No two year old wants to be working, but I had no choice. My whole life, I was in and out of school. I didn’t have friends. I was working constantly and I didn’t have a real life.”
We get it, Taylor. But here’s what you can’t blame your parents for: all the crazy sh*t that comes out of your mouth, your wardrobe (complete with stripper heels and innerwear-as-outerwear) and your death-becomes-me demeanor. Don’t conveniently put all your issues on your parents, when all you talk about is how self-sufficient and independent you are, because it’s getting old. Everyone has baggage, okay? So here’s the best advice we can give you… wash your face, put some clothes on, smile once in a while and get over it.
