Jason Alexander may have only been married to Britney Spears for one day, but the pair are longtime friends—and now he says Spears is being abused by potential husband number three, agent Jason Trawick. “Britney is in an abusive relationship,” he told Star, accusing Trawick of giving her a black eye. “She told me her life had turned into a nightmare.” Radar even has alleged recordings of Spears telling Alexander that Trawick “beat on” her. “My dad has a shotgun and he’s just waiting to use it,” she says, claiming she no longer sees Trawick.
Since he was first spotted vacationing with Britney in 2008, Trawick has been rumored to be either a caring, calming influence on the troubled former teeny-popper or a lackey meant to keep her from escaping father Jamie’s conservatorship. With Alexander making such public accusations, it probably won’t be long before Britney comes forward with her side of the story.
UPDATE: Andrew Wallet, one of Britney’s co-conservators, told TMZ that every single part of Star‘s story is false, including the audio. “[The tape] is a fraud and it is NOT Britney. Jason Trawick has never abused her. They have defamed Britney Spears and we will be taking appropriate legal action.”
