2011 Golden Globes Nominations Announced

2011ggs-550rnrnAs much as we love the Oscars and the Critics Choice Movie Awards, our favorite night of the Awards Season each and every year has got to be the Golden Globes. Why? It’s not because all of our favorite movie stars co-mingle with all of our favorite television stars (although that’s pretty great), but rather, because the Hollywood Foreign Press Association ensures that all of its attendees consume copious amounts of booze!rnrnThis morning, the nominees for the 2011 Golden Globes were announced live on NBC by the unlikely trio of Josh Duhamel, Katie Holmes and Blair Underwood. As expected, films like Black Swan, The Social Network and The King’s Speech led the way, but we’ll have more analysis for you on that in a bit. For now, follow along for the complete list of who’ll be boozing it up on live television on Sunday, January 16th, 2011!rnrnrnrnBest Picture, Drama:rnBlack SwanrnThe FighterrnInceptionrnThe King’s SpeechrnThe Social NetworkrnrnBest Picture, Comedy/Musical:rnAlice in WonderlandrnBurlesquernThe Kids Are All RightrnRedrnThe TouristrnrnBest Actress, Drama:rnHalle Berry, Frankie and AlicernNicole Kidman, Rabbit HolernJennifer Lawrence, Winter’s BonernMichelle Williams, Blue ValentinernNatalie Portman, Black SwanrnrnBest Actor, Drama:rnJesse Eisenberg, The Social NetworkrnColin Firth, The King’s SpeechrnJames Franco, 127 HoursrnRyan Gosling, Blue ValentinernMark Wahlberg, The FighterrnrnBest Director:rnDavid Fincher, The Social NetworkrnDarren Aronofsky, Black SwanrnTom Hooper, The King’s SpeechrnChristopher Nolan, InceptionrnDavid O.
