Looks like Jake Gyllenhaal doesn’t have a bad relationship with all of his exes. The Love & Other Drugs star waxed poetic about ex-girlfriend Natalie Portman this weekend while presenting her with the Desert Palm Achievement Award at th Palm Springs International Film Festival. “[She’s] the Audrey Hepburn of our generation. She’s graceful, has amazing eyebrows, and is talented, really short, funny, smart, dedicated, incredibly kind and Jewish!”
Obviously in a giggly mood (“It does get hard when you’re out to dinner with her,” he said about the vegan), Gyllenhaal cracked wise about how he met Portman. “I first met Natalie at a Star Wars convention waiting in line for her to sign my Queen Amadala doll and I’m really hoping she wins the Oscar. Because if she does, then that doll is going to be worth a s—load of money!” If she takes Best Actress at the Critics’ Choice Movie Awards, airing Jan. 14th on VH1, the odds will be looking pretty good.
Check out the gold-lapeled dress Natalie wore to the event in the gallery below. Do you think Audrey Hepburn would have worn it?
