Somebody’s getting a third shot at Full House for the third time! Morty Coyle proposed to twice-married child star Jodie Sweetin on Tuesday, which also happened to be her 29th birthday. This may be her third shot at marriage but it’s such a cute story. Coyle apparently threw a birthday party for her at the Kibitz Room in L.A, and ending up popping the question Jodie in front of everybody in the room. Thank God she said yes, right? ‘Cause that would’ve been mortifying otherwise. Sharing the moment with the happy couple was their 5-month-old daughter Beatrix. And Beatrix’s mommy is over the moon telling People, “It was a complete surprise. We are just thrilled and I am in shock still! I was glad that everybody was there. People videotaped it, it was great.”
What she didn’t know was the most of her friends were in on the secret and made sure the venue looked as memorable as the occasion. Sweetin revealed, “My friend decorated the whole place with little diamonds on the table and other touches.” Her engagement ring from Erwin Hesz jewelers fit right in with all the bling. It’s a two and a half carat oval sapphire edged with 18 diamonds in a snowflake formation. She plans to keep the couple in engagement mode for a while saying, “We are in no hurry as far as dates or anything like that,” says Sweetin. Her fiance wants to make sure that gay marriage is legalized before they say “I do” explaining, “We want to wait until there’s equality for everybody to get married.” Congratulations to the happy couple!
