We’re totally going to say, we told you so, Taylor Momsen. Did we not beg you to wipe the raccoon makeup off? Did we not ask you to not wear lingerie for clothing? Did we not ask you to be a little less surly around Her Royal Madgeness? But did you listen to us? Noooo. And look where that’s got you. Taylor has been replaced as the face of Madonna’s and Lourdes’ clothing line Material Girl. Replacing her is the bodacious, vibrant, and essentially non-TayMom-esque Miss Kelly Osbourne.
A rep for the fashion label confirmed this bit of news saying, “Material Girl is thrilled to confirm that Kelly Osbourne is the new face for 2011! We will be sharing all the details on this exciting new campaign in the upcoming weeks.” We think Kelly-O is going to rock it and can’t wait to see the new shots. It’ll be nice to see someone smiling for a change (hi, Momsen).
Which brings us back to Taylor, who seems to be getting the boot everywhere. IMG Models dropped her, Gossip Girl gave her the semi-axe. Gurl, you just got discarded by MADONNA like a piece of… old clothing. Hah. If this isn’t a sign to clean up your act, we don’t know what the hell will be.
