It’s no secret that we here at the FABlife love The Hunger Games, which is a trilogy of young adult books that we’ve become all Twilight about. And you KNOW we love us some Twilight. We are so into the books that we put together our dream cast for the impending Gary Ross directed movies and thought Emily Browning would be great for the role of Katniss. She would be, because she’s awesome, but then Hailee Steinfeld came along and we fell in love with her. Apart from being a fantastic actress, she’s so well dressed and age appropriate that she puts that Taylor Momsen‘s and Miley Cyrus‘ of the world to shame. Would Hailee be perfect for the role of Katniss (she also totally loves the books, FYI)? The answer is a resounding yes. Our Kate Spencer has predicted it too, and she’s (almost) never wrong!
With all the Hailee-Katniss buzz it’s almost fortuitous that the release date for The Hunger Games has been announced and Ross is apparently going to start filming late spring or summer. Announce the cast already, guys! March 23rd, 2012 … mark the date.
