… Henry Cavill! He’s our new Man of Steel, as announced by Warner Brothers, beating out the likes of Joe Manganiello, who’s just going to have to stick to being a werewolf for awhile. Lucky Cavill is going to be directed by Zack Snyder and produced by Christopher Nolan but you wouldn’t be alone if you were all like Henry who? Interestingly enough, we had the same reaction with the old Superman, Brandon Routh. We’re guessing studios really do like their superhero alter-ego’s on the down low.
British actor Cavill was previously on The Tudors portraying Charles Brandon and just wrapped up The Immortals where he plays Greek legend Theseus, and Stephanie Meyer wanted him to be Edward Cullen in the Twilight series. But we all know what happened with that story. Looks like he’s about to blow up though, so we’d keep an eye on this one.
