In a bid to play every classic brunette character of all time, rumors have it that Kristen Stewart might play Lois Lane in the new Superman movie with Henry Cavill. Apparently branding consultant/Twitterer-in-the-know Gregory Littley tweeted, “I’m hearing Kristen Stewart has officially read for Lois Lane in Zack Snyder’s #Superman reboot.” We can totally see this. Stewart has already proven that she can play a women who needs to be rescued over and over by an incredibly handsome non-human, and make the audience really believe it.
If the rumors are true, Stewart is going to have a packed shooting schedule in 2011, considering she’s already filming Breaking Dawn and possibly starring as Snow White. Other actresses rumored for the Lois Lane role include Jessica Biel, Glee‘s Dianna Argon and Malin Akerman, who starred in Snyder’s superhero flick Watchmen. Littley offers his own suggestions too, tweeting “Rachel McAdams (pricey) or Mila Kunis (cheaper) would be perfect for Lois Lane – approach them now Warner Bros. #Superman.” What do you think?
