Christina Aguilera “Terrified” After Super Bowl, Hoping For A Grammys Comeback

by Anthony Miccio

Christina Aguilera‘s Super Bowl performance was a low point for the singer, but she’s got a great chance for a quick comeback. She’ll be one of the main performers for this weekend’s Aretha Franklin tribute at the Grammys, and she’s determined to make it count. “Sure, she’s going through a lot and yes she is terrified,” a source told PopEater. “But mark my words, on Sunday when she opens the Grammys, no one will be talking about the Super Bowl anymore. This girl is in it to win it.” And with a TelePrompter on hand, she’s not likely forget the words this time.

Despite rumors of Aguilera’s excessive drinking, there’s even more reason to believe she’ll recover fast: Jordan Bratman has agreed to a divorce settlement. Since her bizarre living arrangement—she, Bratman, their son Max and her boyfriend Matthew Rutler had been staying in the same home—has been allegedly at the root of Christina’s drunken antics, one hopes getting over her legal hurdles will help her get back on track in general. Who knows, maybe her “meltdown” will just wind up being a bad year.
