We hope that $2,500 necklace was worth it! Lindsay Lohan has officially been charged with felony grand theft as a result of her being seen with the necklace that was allegedly stolen from Kamofie & Company in Los Angeles on January 22.
Lohan was seen on the store’s security footage taking the necklace, which was later returned to the LAPD by LiLo’s stylist, but the actress maintains it was a loaner that just wasn’t returned on time. Her arraignment is set to take place this afternoon at 4:30 EST, 1:30 PST and bail has been set at $20,000, which, at that price could have bought quite a few necklaces and avoided the legal trouble. If she’s found guilty of a felony, Lindsay could face anywhere from sixteen months to three years in prison. We’ll keep you posted once her arraignment gets under way.
