Mila Kunis Covers W Magazine

|

Mila Kunis looks stunning on the cover of  the new issue of W Magazine. That Chanel tulle coat with feathers seems to be an arty nod to Black Swan. The photo spread inside is incredible with Mila looking so poised and elegant (check out our gallery below for the photographs). We throughly enjoyed reading the interview as well. When the interviewer asked her about dancing before and after Black Swan, she replied, “I had never danced in my life. I trained for four months, seven days a week, five hours a day. I had one day off on my birthday. I lost 20 pounds. I tore a ligament. I dislocated my shoulder. I have two scars on my back. And it was worth every minute.”

But does that mean she’s going to go through ballet boot camp ever again? The answer was a resounding no. She explained, ” But I will never dance again. I’m a strong believer in mind over matter, but I didn’t fully understand why that meant until this production. I was like, Well — I wear heels; I can do this. I was wrong: Christian Louboutins are uncomfortable, but I screamed the first time I put on a pointe shoe.” We don’t blame her for going right back to her Loubs. (Although we’re jealous that she has a closet full of Loubs to go back to.)

She also spoke about acting in Baywatch, not once but twice, as a kid, and pretty much reacted to it as most of us did: incredulity. Of her role, she had this to say, “The second time, I played a blind girl who’s lost in the forest next to the beach and needs to be saved. It was absurd: There’s a fire, I get saved, and then I go boogie-boarding. I remember thinking, Well, if I’m blind, how am I boogie-boarding? No one ever gave me an answer.” What? You mean David Hasselhoff couldn’t tell you why Baywatch was ridiculous? Now we’ve heard everything. [Photographs via W Magazine]
