George Clooney And Elisabetta Canalis Don’t Want Kids, Wasting Flawless Genes

A near-perfect collection of genetic material is going to be flushed right down the crapper, as word comes today that George Clooney and Elizabetta Canalis won’t have kids. “[Getting pregnant has] never been an objective for me,” Canalis explains. “My maternal desires are fully satisfied with my dogs.” Ah, but do your dogs have the sparkling eyes, thick hair and charming charisma of one Mr. George Clooney, who is currently filming his new movie The Ides Of March in Cincinnati? Maybe, they do; we don’t know your pets. We can, however, guarantee they wouldn’t look nearly as good in a tuxedo when they grow up.

George Clooney has said he’s not getting married on multiple occasions, so it’s probably for the best Elisabetta isn’t hoping to pump out a bunch of bilingual toddlers with flawless skin and billion-dollar trust funds. Not that Canalis is thinking of leaving the star anytime soon, not with all the emotional professions George apparently makes all the time. “Italian men find it really hard to say, ‘I love you,’ ” Elisabetta says. “In summary, American men are more open from an emotional standpoint.” Right, who wants to have a baby with a handsome millionaire who fulfills their every emotional need? You are killing us with this, Elisabetta.
