Chris Brown may have visited an art gallery and even shot some hoops between his backstage meltdown at Good Morning America and last night’s album premiere party at Webster Hall, but the Chris’ heated interview with Robin Roberts was still on his mind when he went on stage. “We’re gonna forget the media!” he shouted to cheers from the crowd. “I didn’t plan on performing when I came here, but f— it!” He later commented, “A lot of whack s—happened today,” and did a number with rapper Waka Flocka Flame, giving Chris another chance to show off his chest tattoos.
Despite Brown allegedly staring down a producer and almost throwing a chair through a window facing Times Square yesterday, Good Morning America apparently will not be pressing charges against the singer. In fact, GMA would like to have Chris Brown back on the show! “We extended the invitation to him,” said Roberts today, “and sure hope he takes us up on it because I’d sure love to have another chat with him.” Nice precedent, guys! Remind us to walk on the other side of the street, in case more celebrity guests decide to test the strength of ABC’s windows.
