Matthew Knowles, Beyonce‘s father, is no longer her manager. The singer has opted to end the professional side of their relationship but is adamant in letting people know it’s all okay on the personal front. She’s stated, “He is my father for life and I love my dad dearly.”
There’s got to be more to this story than is being revealed. Matthew has been his daughter’s manager from the late 1990′s onwards, when her career took off with Destiny’s Child. The fact that her former band-mate Kelly Rowland also decided to drop Matthew as a manager in 2009 tells us that if that ladies are moving on to something better, there’s got to be a reason. Both Beyonce and Kelly did stress that there’s been no animosity involved, which is a good thing because family and business can get messy.
