Miley Cyrus Was Misquoted, She Actually Loves Rebecca Black, You Guys

|

We were a little confused last week when Miley Cyrus reportedly criticized Rebecca Black, saying “It should be harder to be an artist. You shouldn’t just be able to put a song on YouTube and go on tour.” In an industry where everyone gets their big break in different ways (and some are born into it—cough, cough), we were shocked by Miley’s criticism. Turns out  though, that it was all just a big mix-up. Miley claims she was misquoted and told E! this weekend “I am a fan of Rebecca Black. I love Rebecca Black. I just got misquoted. I think she’s great.”

To go even further, Miley says “I actually have this really embarrassing video that my sister has on her phone and I’m just waiting till the day that she puts it on YouTube. It’s me driving, singing Rebecca Black and my hands are not always on the wheel while I’m singing the song. Not so good.” Pics, or it didn’t happen! You hear us, Noah Cyrus? Your sister is daring you to put that online. We need proof that Miley really does sing mindless, terrible pop music in the car. (As opposed to just onstage! Heyoo! Just kidding, cheap shot.)
