Looks like four years with Heather Mills hasn’t turned Paul McCartney off marriage for good. People reports that the 68-year-old former Beatle is engaged to girlfriend Nancy Shevell, whom he started dating in 2007, while separated from 2nd wife Mills. McCartney was married to first wife Linda for nearly 30 years before her 1998 death, and Shevell, 51, walked hand-in-hand with Paul and his daughter, Mary, 41, at the Orange British Academy Film Awards in February. If the kids love Nancy—Paul had four with Linda and a daughter, 7, with Mills—then we do too!
Denying this kind of news just doesn’t seem like his bag, especially with the pair being increasingly public of late (they just attended the Met Gala together), and a rep for McCartney confirmed the news to CNN. “I just like being in love” is all he’d say about Nancy in 2008, though, so don’t expect him to start tweeting haikus or anything.
