Koalas: The animal kingdom’s closest answer to the bathroom slipper. Warm, curled up, lazy, and soft as the underbelly of a mountain goat, these little guys don’t deserve any harm, given that they’re usually getting high in trees. And perhaps the drugs are to blame in the case of Asha, a koala who was hit not once, but twice by two cars while trying to cross a street. It’s a near miracle that Asha survived, as a kind-hearted local retrieved his injured small body from the side of the road and took it to the Australia Zoo Wildlife Hospital.
And look at him now!
