Entertainment Weekly has the first look at Lily Collins as Snow White for the upcoming live-action film, and we have to say, we do love a fairy tale princess with a strong brow. “I keep saying to everyone I feel like I’m walking into a snow globe, a fairy tale, every single day,” the Mortal Instruments star tells EW. “It’s so epic. I was part of a costume ball today, so you can only imagine the outfits.” Sure, of course, a costume ball within a snow globe filled with tiny miners! We got you, girl.
Now we’re even more interested in seeing what Julia Roberts’ Evil Queen will look like. Says Collins about her character’s nemesis, “You can’t figure out if you are supposed to like her or hate her. But if you happen to be the victim of it, you really feel it.” We guess casting Julia makes sense at least; she’s technically supposed to qualify as second fairest of the all, and she’s got that on lock.
