Jada Pinkett Smith’s HawthoRNe Gets Canceled

This has truly not been a good fortnight for Jada Pinkett Smith. First rumors swirled early last week regarding a Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith divorce, which were then followed shortly by allegations of a Marc Anthony and Jada Pinkett Smith affair. If Jada thought she’d be able to make it through to the holiday weekend without another bombshell, she was sadly mistaken, as reports come today that Jada Pinkett Smith’s show HawthoRNe has been canceled.

Debuting in 2009, Smith’s medical drama ran for three seasons before today’s announcements. “Hey everyone…if you don’t know Hawthorne will not be returning for another season,” Pinkett Smith tweeted. “I want to say thank you to all the fans for being Hawthorne soldiers. All our facebook fans…twitter soldiers and viewers…you held us down. Of course you know there is more to come…believe it!” Jada then immediately went home and took a 72-hour-nap.
