We’ve already clued you in that Nick Jonas has been helping out with Quaker Chewy’s search for a Superstar. Over the last few months, thousands of children have tried out by way of submitting video performances of themselves singing, and now we’re down to the Quaker Chewy Superstar finalists! But only one kid can take the Grand Prize, which is $5,000, a song produced by Nick Jonas, a contract with Nick Jonas Management, and a video aired on national television. You can still vote for your favorite finalist, but hurry up! The voting period closes this Friday, September 9.
Two of the finalists, Allison and Victoria, both give stripped-down performances of the JaneDear girls’ “Wildflower,” a potentially wise song choice as it has crossover appeal with the pop, rock and country sets. Ashley, the only finalist to be rocking out in a professional-looking studio, takes the same strategy with her performance of “Breathe” by pop/country star Michelle Branch. Gabrielle may appeal more to the pop/urban crowd with her sincere rendition of B.o.B‘s “Nothin’ On You,” which features Bruno Mars. And Mac, the lone guy of the pack, also chooses to perform Bruno Mars by singing “Just The Way You Are.” All five finalists and great voices and deliver heartfelt performances. Vote for your fave now!
