In a story that we think is hilarious, Leonardo DiCaprio was mistaken for an armed robber in Sydney, Australia because of the intimadating lurking of his crew. That’s the problem with entourages — they can scare the crap out of people! Leo rolled into a store called ‘Family Jewels’ (insert stupid grin here) and they obviously got some serious loot stocked because they got quite jumpy around the actor. The sales assistant, Linda, didn’t recognize him! Obviously not a fan of Titanic.
Leo’s bodyguards stood by the door while the actor took a look around. Unfortunately, he was trying to go incognito, wearing a hoodie, sunglasses and baseball cap which looked really suspicious! Linda sent word to the owner,Kane Kelfkens, thinking they were about to robbed! Kane explains, “ …Linda was serving a customer when the two big bodyguards approached. The customer sees what’s happening and says: ‘This doesn’t look good’. Linda sent the customer next door to get me, thinking the shop is about to be robbed by these guys.” By the time he got there, Linda realized who she was serving and probably felt like a right charlie. Poor Leo was only there to buy a present for his mother!
