Sometimes we wonder why celebrities talk about their breakups at all, especially when their exes are, shall we say, often portrayed as America’s spinster aunt? In an interview with Parade magazine about his upcoming movie Moneyball, Brad Pitt talked about his marriage to Jennifer Aniston. “It became very clear to me that I was intent on trying to find a movie about an interesting life, but I wasn’t living an interesting life myself,” Pitt reveals. “I think that my marriage [to actress Jennifer Aniston] had something to do with it. Trying to pretend the marriage was something that it wasn’t.” Somewhere Jen is gripping Justin Theroux‘s hand so tight, she is slowly yet sexily cutting off his circulation.
Just in case the comparison between Jen and Angelina Jolie wasn’t explicit enough yet, Pitt has a little gushing to do. “One of the greatest, smartest things I ever did was give my kids Angie as their mom. She is such a great mom. Oh, man, I’m so happy to have her,” Brad explains, before scoffing, “”I mean, how many stories have you read that aren’t true, stories about me and Angie being married or fighting or splitting up?” Hmmm, so maybe Brad brought up an actual true story about his failed marriage to Aniston…just to distract us from his current relationship. We see what you did there, Pitt.
