Judge Stephanie Sautner has revoked Lindsay Lohan’s probation, had her handcuffed in court and ordered her to appear at a hearing on November 2 to determine whether she needs to go back to jail. Whatever LiLo’s reason was for blowing off nine shifts of community service at the Downtown Women’s Center — lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley seemed to think it was for work, LiLo told the probation officer it “wasn’t fulfilling” — it better have been good. And the work she did at the Red Cross after the women’s center gave her the boot? Sautner says that won’t count toward her sentence at all. “Nobody has the power to change my sentence,” she said, and that sentence was specifically for the women’s center and the L.A. County Morgue. And the morgue is where she has to report immediately and complete 16 hours of service before the hearing.
Also at issue is whether Lindsay actually appeared for her weekly psychiatric sessions, as her shrink reported, when it appeared that she was out of town for fashion shows from September 9 through October 5. There’s some deliberate obfuscation going on here, much to the judge’s annoyance. Or she has a really good travel agent.
“Probation is a gift,” she reminded Lindsay and her lawyer, and Lindsay has been “looking a gift horse in the mouth.”
Lindsay faces up to a year and a half in jail, and People reports that bail was set at $100,000.
