That’s how it’s done. Our darling Zooey Deschanel sang ”The Star-Spangled Banner” at Game 4 of the 2011 World Series on Sunday night in Arlington, Texas. And she nailed it while looking adorable in a red, white and blue minidress with red pumps. The New Girl actress and She & Him singer/songwriter worked some the retro intonations into her voice — without straying too much from tradition. Take note, Scotty McCreery and Christina Aguilera (who have both flubbed the anthem at Game 1 and at the Super Bowl.)
