We have been so distracted by Jessica Simpson‘s gigantic baby bump and Beyonce‘s impeding Babyonce, we didn’t even realize Hugh Grant was having a baby! Though, from the sounds of it…we wonder if the About a Boy actor was almost as surprised as we are.
“I can confirm that Hugh Grant is the delighted father of a baby girl,” Grant’s rep told Us Weekly today. “He and the mother had a fleeting affair and while this was not planned, Hugh could not be happier or more supportive. He and the mother have discussed everything and are on very friendly terms.” While there’s no word yet on the name of Grant’s new bundle, who was born earlier this month, or the mother of said bundle, the actor was allegedly linked to Chinese actress Tinglan Hong earlier this year. So, on to the real question: can a baby be considered dashing? If so, can Hugh Grant’s baby be anything but?
