Justin Bieber Celebrates The Release Of Under The Mistletoe With A New ‘Do

Now that Halloween is over, we have (un)officially entered the Holiday Season. No one knows this better than Justin Bieber, who apparently kipped trick-or-treating last night so he could stop by The Tonight Show and pimp his new Christmas album ‘Under The Mistletoe’, which drops today. But when the singer stepped in front of the cameras, we found him looking decidedly less Bieber-like than normal. Although slowly vanishing for some time now, it appears that Justin has finally decided to jettison his trademark helmet-hair look once and for all. How will wig manufactures and Tumblr survive!? His spiky new ‘do seems to fall somewhere between Vanilla Ice and Frankenstein. Who knows, maybe it was just part of his Halloween costume.

But Bieber had bigger fish to fry than just his evolving hair style and soon got down to the business of promoting his new album, which features a duet with Mariah Carey! “She’s super cool,” Justin said of the diva. “It was cool because I got to do ‘All I Want To For Christmas is You’.” Despite the Bieb’s strong singing chops, he admits it was tough keeping up with Mariah’s vocal gymnastics. “It was tricky. She has super high notes, and it wasn’t like she was going to change the key for me, so I had to go in and do her key,” Justin explained. “It was really hard, but we had to make it happen.”

In the giving spirit of Christmas, Justin is donating profits from the album to the Believe organization. Justin founded the charity himself in order to aid hungry families, a subject that hits close to home for the singer. “We give to this food bank called the House Of Blessing, where I got food from when I was growing up,” he explained. “I was less fortunate, I didn’t have a lot, so we used to go there every Christmas.” The whole project was something of a Christmas miracle as far as Bieber was concerned. ‘Universal, my label, has never actually given money from an album to charity, so for them to do that was really amazing,’ he revealed. The Canadian Messiah strikes again! Check out more of the new ‘do in the gallery below.
