Whee! Gaga’s Workshop is now open at Barney’s New York. That’s Lady Gaga wielding a giant pair of scissors at the official ribbon cutting ceremony yesterday. Gaga’s Workshop is her take on Santa’s Workshop and Barney’s has given them an entire floor to create magic — they’ll even be designing special holiday packaging and shopping bags. Artists Eli Sudbrack and Christophe Hamaide Pierson of Assume Vivid Astro Focus (avaf) and Mugler creative director and Lady Gaga’s fashion director Nicola Formichetti  are responsible for the design. Barney’s is donating 25 percent of sales from Gaga’s Workshop to the Born This Way Foundation.
