Rihanna’s “We Found Love” Vid Banned From French Daytime TV

It wouldn’t be a Rihanna video unless it got banned on at least one continent, right? Right. Much like the singer’s latex, whips and Perez-Hilton-on-a-dog-leash extravaganza S&M, RiRi’s new spot for her number one single “We Found Love” has been officially banned from daytime television in France. The Supreme Audiovisual Council of France declared the video inappropriate to air prior to 10:00 pm, due to its depictions of “self-destructive behavior” and “pronounced suggestive” material, i.e. that bandanna bikini top. We guess the video’s mix of drug use, domestic disputes, shoplifting, Chris Brown look-alikes and slimy bathtub loitering was bound to shatter a monocle or two. We can already see where this is headed, so they’d better go ahead and ban the videos from her Talk The Talk album. Seriously, just get it out of the way now.
