Beliebers, rest easy. No need to start sharpening your darts just yet. Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber are not engaged, contrary to all the buzz flying around. It all started because of this picture taken of the couple in Mexico. And if you look closely at Selena’s left hand (the one right by her heart — awww) you will see a ring. With a diamond on it. That just about screams engagement, right? But nay, Bieb’s rep categorically told E! that “there is no ring and no engagement.”
So it may not be Justin’s ring, but she still is wearing a diamond on her ring finger. And it is related to getting married, only not about them. TMZ reports that they’re in Cabo for the wedding of Shannon Larossi — a friend of Selena’s and a costume designer for Wizards of Waverly Place. Selena’s a bridesmaid, and Justin is her date, so maybe that’s why the bling’s out!
