Sad news to report. GossipCop reports that Selena Gomez‘s mother, Mandy Dawn Cornett, has suffered a miscarriage. This was going to be Mandy’s first child with husband Brian Teefey, who is Selena’s stepfather, and the whole family was ecstatic over the news. The singer had even tweeted the happy news late last month, writing, “Momma and Brian are finally letting me share the news… My mommys carrying my baby brother or sister …” The tragedy apparently occurred on Saturday. Selena has cancelled concerts in Chicago and Seattle that were scheduled over the weekend and today so she she can be with her family. Our thoughts go out to them during this difficult time.
