Salma Hayek is going to be “knighted” in France very soon. And not for a movie. People reports that at a ceremony on Sunday, President Nicolas Sarkozy announced a list of people who are due to receive the Légion d’Honneur, and the actress’ name was on that roster. She is scheduled to receive the honor of “Chevalier,” or knight, which is one of the five titles the honor includes. The induction will most likely happen at the Élysées Palace — this will include getting pinned with a presidential medal — within the next two months, says a source. Previous recipients in the acting fraternity include Clint Eastwood, Kirk Douglas, Robert Redford and Robert De Niro.
