Our DVRs are like an old, trusted friend: Sleek, reliable, a window into our own souls, our happiness, it can also sometimes flake out when 60 Minutes runs long. (Ed. Note: Andy Rooney was my oldest friend.) Coming back from vacation, I fired back up the old DVR, excited to catch up on old stories and new. It was then, when I looked at it, that I realized something… I am either 105 years old, or 7:
Now, IN MY DEFENSE, it IS celebrity week on The Price Is Right, which I think kind of halfway let’s me off the hook. Judge Judy and Wheel? I have no excuse. Looney Tunes? If you’re honestly asking me why I DVR Looney Tunes we could seriously never be friends. Sadly, I DVR Amen in the bedroom, otherwise you would really see my affinity for 80s and 90s urban sitcoms. (My dream job is Live-Blogging TV One all day long.) And even though the new Bachelor is about as exciting as watching a fly queef, I have no shame and will admit to watching it religiously. Oh, Ghost is on there as a “joke.”
