Lenny Kravitz was his usual charming self in his interview for today’s Ellen DeGeneres Show, and we got a little bit giddy when she asked about stories that everyone often congregated in his hotel room after the day’s shooting of The Hunger Games.
“That did happen; my room became ‘after hours,’ ” said Kravitz, who plays more-than-meets-the-eye stylist Cinna. “I was rehearsing for the world tour at the same time. … They listened to me play music. I had the wardrobe for the tour — there were racks of clothing everywhere, and Woody Harrelson would try out all my clothes and parade around the room.”
“What did he bring when he came to the party?” Ellen asked, making Lenny smile and wag his finger at the host before saying, “Medication!”
He also talked about his short acting resume, which just includes a cameo on Zoolander and his role in Precious. So what’s his dream role? “I want to work with Woody Allen. It’s time he works with a black Jew!”
Ellen promised that she’d make that happen, as well as set him up with a blind date. Because if there’s one thing this guys must have a hard time with, it’s attracting ladies.
