Last time I checked, we don’t have a whole lot of pop songs that feature the cowbell. Whatever genius added that sweet hollow bell sound to the dulcet tones of Carly Rae Jepsen‘s “Call Me Maybe” is going to end up wearing gold-plated diapers. And I mean that as a compliment.
