Emma Stone traveled from New York, to Tokyo, to Seoul, to Moscow, to Madrid and more with the traveling circus that was The Amazing Spider-Man promotional tour. Filled with premieres and photo calls in every country, Emma had to have solid outfit schedule planned. We were so excited about that because she’s our favorite sartorial star — always taking risks. Sometimes, those risks don’t pay off, but we love her for trying. This Spidey circuit had some really huge fashion moments for her, but also some fizzles. We’ve ranked all of her 15 ensembles in order of preference, so sit back and start clicking. We got all the deets, starting with number one — our favorite — to number 15, which is our least impressive pick.
1. Press conference, Tokyo
Emma attended the press conference for the film at the Ritz Carlton on June 13 dressed in this incredible, fitted Rue du Mail Fall 2012 dress. Emma accessorized with Cartier jewels and Ferragamo black-and-white houndstooth-print heels which we’re now dying to own.
2. Premiere, Paris
Wow — check out the Gothic plum lipstick! Emma works it in a sexy, gauzy Gucci Fall 2012 gown at the Paris premiere at Le Grand Rex on June 19. She accessorized with Repossi jewelry, a Cartier clutch and Christian Louboutin heels.
3. Premiere, Rome
The premiere was in Rome on June 22, and Emma stunned in this glamorous Bottega Veneta Fall 2012 gown. It’s not an easy one to pull off with the peplum waist, waistband and glimmering fabric. The hair quiff pulls it all together, along with the Christian Louboutin “Pigalle” heels and Tiffany & Co. jewels.
4. Photo call, Moscow
Emma was in Moscow on June 15 and wowed everyone in this summery, yellow, hand-painted Lanvin dress. She also wore Nikki Baker earrings and Dalla Nonna rings with black Brian Atwood peep-toes that matched the detailing of the dress.
5. Premiere, Moscow
Her Moscow promotions were a huge fashion hit. While her Lanvin worn during the photo call earlier this day (June 15) was mega, her premiere outfit, worn to the Oktyabr Cinema was no less. Emma was so elegant in her semi-sheer, sky blue, crossover-bodice Emilio Pucci Fall 2012 dress. She styled the ensemble with nude nude Louboutin pumps, Dana Rebecca Designs earrings and a Jennifer Behr delicate gold laurel leaf bandeaux hairband.

6. Photo Call, New York
Emma, standing next to actor Rhys Ifans, looked fresh and cool even though she was wearing a J Brand “Baez” leather top in the summer. Leather in that heat, and it still looks great? We never thought it possible. This was at the New York photo call at the Crosby Street Hotel on June 9. She teamed the top with a pair of Rag & Bone white jeans. Simple and perfect.
7. Press Conference, Seoul
Emma really showed off her chops at the Seoul, South Korea press conference on June 14. She wore a Burberry Prorsum Fall 2012 ensemble that comprised a blue-and-olive striped top with turquoise beading on the neckline, with a black pencil skirt. Cherry red Brian Atwood pumps completed the look. Edgy, unusual and very fashionable!
8. Photo Call, Berlin
Emma Stone was at the Adlon Hotel in Berlin for the film’s photo call on June 20. She wore this elegant Martin Grant Fall 2012 navy dress with Christian Louboutin “Bois Dore” pumps which had a gold heel. She complemented these with Jennifer Meyer’s gold earrings and a 18-karat gold necklace. Navy blue and gold look fantastic together and we love how she wove those two elements in.
9. Premiere, Berlin
Emma wore this white custom Andrew Gn cocktail dress to the Berlin premiere at the Sony Centre on June 20. The lacing in the bodice is amazing, and we love the coral lipstick she has on. But is the silhouette too ’80’s? C’mon, it has long puffy sleeves and satin panels. In white, we may add. Emma accessorized with gold Repossi statement jewels and white Christian Louboutin “Armadillo Bride” ankle-strap d’Orsay sandals.
10. Premiere, London
This is when things start getting iffy with us. Emma wore this Elie Saab Fall 2012 to the Odean on Leiseter Square for the London premiere on June 18. But there’s a little too much going on with it — slashed, plunging neckline, orange waistband, spiked detailing on the top. Yes, it’s outre, but doesn’t hit the spot perfectly. Love the Van Cleef & Arpels jewels, though. And if anyone could make this look halfway good, it’s Emma!
11. Photo Call, Rome
Emma wore this white Jason Wu Resort 2013 dress to the Rome photo call on June 22. We would have loved its simplicity — pockets and everything — had it not been for that random draping detail at the waist. It looks like someone has tucked a napkin in there. It ruins it for us, even though we lover her Christian Louboutin “Bis Un Bout” pumps and Cartier jewels.
12. Premiere, Madrid
This Dolce & Gabbana Fall 2012 dress would have been ace, had it not reminded us of a milkmaid. Emma wore it to the Madrid premiere at Callao cinema on June 21. We love the floral embroidery, but the cream lace, puffed shoulders and scalloped hem — not to mention, the length on her — took it to twee, Heidi-on-the-mountaintop territory. She accessorized with Van Cleef & Arpels jewels and nude Christian Louboutin “Pigalle” pumps.
13. Premiere, Seoul
Emma paired this Fendi dress with Stella McCartney heels and Cartier jewelry to the Seoul, South Korea, premiere, held at Lotte Cinema on June 14. Those brown shoulder pads and the boxiness of the platform heels have taken the shine away for us. Sorry, Emma. The makeup is lovely, though.
14. Photo Call, Madrid
What’s up with the excess fabric? We like two-tone dresses, and we would have liked this Roksanda Ilincic number had someone sorted the length out and not made Emma look like she was wearing a curtain. The blue panel looks tacked on. This was for the Madrid photo call at the Villamagna Hotel on June 21. Emma also wore very cute, black-and-white striped Christian Louboutin heels, and Melinda Maria earrings.
15. Premiere, Tokyo
Amazing how her press conference outfit from earlier in the day was amazing, but this one flopped. Emma attended the world premiere of the film at Roppongi Hills on June 13 in Tokyo wearing this muddy brown Rochas Fall 2012 dress that just failed completely for us. It’s so ill-fitted and the puffed-up skirt makes her look like she’s wearing a doublet and hose. Plus the bodice should have been taken in, as it’s at least two sizes too big. The only redeeming factor here are those Christian Louboutin “Love Me Bow” heels (which also looked over-sized, FYI) and her Van Cleef & Arpels earrings.
