To tell you the truth, even though we knew that Mitch Hurwitz and company were working on 13 new episodes of Arrested Development to stream on Netflix in early 2013, to be followed by a movie, we were scared to believe it would actually happen. Like the series itself, it seemed too good to exist in our current reality. But this weekend, Jason Bateman tweeted irrefutable proof that the cast is back on set. “My son, arriving yesterday,” he wrote, with a photo of Michael Cera in what looks like the Bluth model home, resurrected from the dead (sinkhole). He captioned another photo, “A grandson, looking for his Gangee.”

The fact that Bateman’s referring to Cera in character makes us feel like he’s just as excited about AD’s return as we are. We can’t wait for more reports from the set!
