Twilight Costar Says Fans Won’t “Give A S—” About Robsten Drama When Breaking Dawn Comes Out. Is She Right?

Christian Serratos Says Twilight Fans Don't Care about Robsten Break Up

Does the idea of seeing Breaking Dawn Part 2 in theaters knowing about Robsten’s sad public scandal make your vamp-loving heart break? Or do the real world shenanigans of Kristen Stewart and Rob Pattinson not affect your love of Bella and Edward in the slightest? According to Robsten’s Twilight costar Christian Serratos, true fans won’t bat an eye seeing Kristen and Rob on the big screen post-cheating disaster. “Of course people are fans of us now, but I think above anything, they’re fans of these characters,” she told Us Weekly. “I don’t think anyone’s really gonna give a s—. They’re gonna see the movie; it’s going to be awesome.” Hmmm…we don’t know about that. We’re guessing people are going to give a s— and it’s going to be awesome. The two aren’t mutually exclusive!

Fortunately, the film doesn’t hit theaters until November 16, which means both Rob and Kristen have time to lie low and turn to their celebrity friends for help.  While Pattinson has allegedly taken refuge at the palatial Ojai home of his Water For Elephants costar Reese Witherspoon, Kristen has sought comfort from her Panic Room screen mom Jodie Foster.

Unfortunately, there is no escaping the fact that both of them have to head back into the limelight at some point. Despite rumors that Rob canceled recent promo appearances for Cosmopolis (due out August 17), that time might be sooner than you’d think. “Cosmopolis is a film that Robert is very proud of and looks forward to supporting,” his rep said in a statement today. “No confirmed engagements have been canceled. Any reports to the contrary are inaccurate.” So we have to ask: is all this disastrous public heartbreak going to dissuade you from seeing Breaking Dawn Part 2 when it premiere? Or are you committed to seeing the series through, no matter what its stars do in their off hours?
