Scarlett Johansson's Hitchcock Wig Is Flawless

If only Liz & Dick weren’t a TV movie! We would love to see Lindsay Lohan‘s Liz Taylor wig face off against Scarlett Johansson‘s Janet Leigh wig in the soon-to-be-released Hitchcock movie. Yeah, we know Lindsay’s wig is obviously going to win the Best Wig Emmy next year, but it’s just not the same. The Best Wig Oscar is the career changer, and everyone knows it! Wait…what? There’s no such thing as a Best Wig Oscar? But why…why even have the Oscars then? Are we the only ones who understand the importance of hairpieces when it comes to making a historically accurate film? Has the whole world gone insane?

We’re going to have to talk to the Academy about this, because everyone from Helen Mirren as Hitchcock’s wife Alma to the eerily-accurate Jessica Biel as actress Vera Miles are bringing some hairpiece realness to the upcoming biopic of the famed director. Don’t worry, though; this won’t be one of those Titanic situations where one film just sweeps the Oscars. There are so many wigs that could still win in the end! All those wet, raggedy wigs in Les Miz, Lincoln’s presidential wig, etc…
