Amanda Bynes might be best known for being a preternaturally hilarious tween on All That, but anyone who’s seen her (highly underrated, in our opinion) WB sitcom What I Like About You must admit that the girl is also a talented adult comedic actress as well. We imagine no one knows that better than Amanda’s former co-star from 2002 to 2006 Jennie Garth, which makes the fact Amanda is currently icing Jennie out of her tumultuous life all the more distressing. “I tried reaching out to her and I haven’t been able to reach her,” said Garth told Us Magazine. “My heart feels for whatever she is going through and I love her dearly.” Oh Amanda, just return her calls! We can only imagine Jennie Garth would a soothing presence in times of distress. She’d undoubtedly bring over a basket of muffins, or really nice lotions. We can just tell.
On the other hand, it’s probably good Bynes is trying to lay low for awhile. According to TMZ, Amanda entered a not guilt plea to two charges of driving with a suspended license yesterday; she’ll be back in court November 29. No word yet on Amanda’s pending DUI charge or multiple hit-and-run charges (for which she’s also pleaded not guilty). No word on anything, really. Is it wrong that we want someone to call Amanda’s uncle and find out what’s going on? It is, isn’t it?
