Brittany Murphy’s Final Movie Is Complete, But We’ll Always Remember Her 5 Finest Roles

Brittany Muphy's Last Movie Completed

How has it only been three years since Brittany Murphy passed away? It seems like it’s been forever, which is why we were shocked to hear that her final film, “suspense thriller” Something Wicked, is currently looking for a distributor. We hope the movie gets picked up, because we’d love to watch the Clueless star onscreen on last time. How can we not, when she gave us some truly great performances?

1) Lisa Swenson, Drop Dead Gorgeous

If you haven’t seen Brittany Murphy’s masterful comedic turn in 1999’s Drop Dead Gorgeous, you are doing yourself a disservice. “Well, you know what, Dad? Peter’s gay. GAAAAAAAAAAAAY!”

2) Tai, Clueless

We know it’s been said many times, many ways, but Brittany Murphy was a total gem in 1995’s Clueless. Anyone who disagrees is clearly a virgin who can’t drive.

3) Luanne, King of the Hill

Can we talk for a second about how perfect Brittany was to voice kind-hearted ditz Luanne on King of the Hill from 1997 to 2009? Not a lot of performers are superior voice actors as well as traditional actors, but Murphy pulled off both for most of her career.

4) Daisy Randone, Girl Interrupted

Who knew Murphy was as good at comedy as she was at simmering rage and creeping unease? Oh right, anyone who saw 1999’s Girl, Interrupted. They would know.

5) Shellie, Sin City

Speaking of simmering rage, Brittany brought that intensity in 2005’s Sin City.
